Within the framework of promotion of scientific, technical and cultural divulgation, and the organization of academic activities for the doctoral students, the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) organizes the THREE MINUTE THESIS competition, where research students will face the challenge to communicate the significance of their projects to a general audience in just three minutes.
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition celebrates the exciting research conducted by doctoral students. Developed by The University of Queensland (UQ), the exercise cultivates students’ academic, presentation, and research communication skills. The competition supports their capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience.
Active doctoral students who have successfully passed at least one RAPI follow-up evaluation.
The finalists will opt for different prizes, ranging from 100 to 1,000 euros, to materialize in activities related to their doctoral research.
